DroneX 2026. Two days, one city. 🎉 A week on, the thing we keep coming back to is not only the substance of conversation but how applicably real the #BVLOS ecosystem has become.
As one of our team put it, “There was a real energy at the show, constant discussions about real opportunities, and not wishful thinking.”
That last part is what we keep coming back to. Anyone who has been in this industry a while remembers when uncrewed aviation was mostly a promise: demos, decks, a lot of “someday.” What we heard in London were questions about deployment, integration, certification and timelines, from people with budgets and mandates. The conversation has moved from “will this work” to “how do we make this work at scale, and by when.”
It isn’t a London story, either. The same shift is showing up locally in Central New York, regionally across the Northeast, nationally as BVLOS rules open the door to real operations, and internationally, which is where we were standing last week. Different markets, same question.
We didn’t get there alone. Thank you to Empire State Development for putting New York State on the floor with a full pavilion, and for the years of groundwork behind it: the #Syracuse to Rome drone corridor, and GENIUS NY, operated by CenterState NY, which gave ResilienX its start in 2019. And thank you to CenterState CEO for backing this ecosystem at home, through the INSPYRE Innovation Hub by CenterState and NUAIR, so a Central New York company can show up on an international floor with credibility.
We’re now in planning mode, working through the follow-ups and deciding where to put our energy first. More soon!
