NASA Civilian Commercialization Readiness Pilot Program (CCRPP)

AFWERX recently shared an update on its collaboration with NASA to develop a digital Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) operations center, with ResilienX selected as the CCRPP awardee to lead the effort.

As the AAM ecosystem grows, the article underscores a familiar challenge: regions and operators are moving fast, but the supporting digital infrastructure, integration pathways, and operational standards still need to catch up. This CCRPP-backed project is focused on defining and integrating an AAM Operations Center that is scalable and “tactical,” designed to support verification and validation of the systems and sensors involved in emerging aviation operations, including uncrewed aerial systems and electric vertical takeoff and landing concepts.

The article also notes that the initial build-out will be done in collaboration with NUAIR at Syracuse Hancock International Airport, with the intention to test, learn, and transition the concept to additional locations.
